Again a glorious, if cold November day greeted us for the Annual Winter Fayre!
The SCPA would like to thank everybody who helped to make this year’s Winter Fayre another great success; we raised a phenomenal £4,105.32 this year.
We hope you all enjoyed the variety of stalls, the unusual grater plates from Andalusia, jewellery and alpaca wool clothing from Peru and the usual Bottle and Chocolate tombola, ‘Bag luck’, house stalls and for the first time ever the school Youth Enterprise group with their T shirts and light up badges.
The Silent Auction was again a magnificent boost to our overall funds with some really unique prizes on offer, especially for the football fans amongst us!
Thank you to everyone who donated prizes to both the Raffle and the Silent Auction these are a really important addition to the overall fundraising at this event.
Also thank you to all those who gave their time to prepare and run the stalls - the fayre takes time to organise and arrange and we couldn't have done it without all of you!
As ever, each of the school houses worked to competitively raise as much money as possible. We thank the heads of house, their captains and their teams for all their time and effort.
The victorious house this year was Grenville house, well done Mr Connors and team.
The games room was a fantastic hub of fun this year, catering for all ages, thank you to the brave souls manning the room it is not a room for the faint hearted!!
Lovely to have a visit from the big man himself Father Christmas and his new team of fabulous elves in their beautifully decorated grotto! Lots of very happy smiley faces when he arrived and did an impromptu trip round the Lewis hall to say a few hellos!
