2016 Winter Fayre

The SCPA would like to thank everybody who helped to make our annual Winter Fayre such a great success, we raised a phenomenal £3,956.

We were extremely lucky with the weather this year particularly Mr Harris who was in the stocks in the quad having wet sponges thrown at him!

We hope you all enjoyed the variety of stalls available, the new grotto location and the bigger better games room.

This year the addition of the Silent Auction was a massive boost to our overall profit and we hope to be able to run this again next year.

Thank you to everyone who donated prizes to both the Raffle and the Silent Auction.

Also thank you to all those who gave their time to prepare and run the stalls - the fayre takes time to organise and arrange and we couldn't have done it without all of you!

As ever, each of the school houses worked their hardest to competitively raise as much money as possible. We thank the heads of house, their captains and their teams for all their time and effort.

The hotly contested title for the most money made goes to Grenville house this year.

The new improved games room was a hub of fun and entertainment, catering for all ages and of course we mustn’t forget the most important guest of the day Father Christmas and his always lovely elves in their pimped up newly located grotto!

We hope that we will see you all once more in a year's time and if anyone has any suggestions for future events or would like to learn more about and/or join the SCPA committee, please contact Jo Bushby or Claire Fletcher at This email address is being protected from spambots.
