OSA Rounders – 13th June 2015
The OSA rounders match took place on a warm and pleasant day and two teams played this year in what is always a fun and enjoyable afternoon. With 13 players turning up for the OSA team (comprised of Old Shorehamers, staff and guests), Mrs Moore kindly offered to score. Nine players played against six in the school team and it was a very close match. In the first game, the school team were in the lead scoring 8½ rounders to the OSA’s 7½ rounders. But in the second game, the OSA team pulled back scoring 9 rounders against the school’s 6½ rounders. Final score: OSA 16½, School 15.
Many thanks to Mrs Liley for umpiring and Mrs Moore for scoring. Also thanks to Miss Heard for helping to organize the teams. Finally, thank you to all the players and supporters for continuing to support the OSA events.
