OSA Netball - Saturday 15^th November 2014

A downpour in the morning meant that this year’s netball tournament had to take place inside. Despite the unfavourable weather, three teams of girls arrived at the College and a round robin tournament quickly got underway. Once again, the current pupils had the advantage of playing together regularly and they were ultimately victorious. But both the staff team and the OSA team put up a good fight and this was especially impressive for the staff team as some of them had not played netball since they were at school, some time ago! The matches were played in very good spirit and enjoyed by all who took part plus the spectators who turned out to support the teams.

Georgina Liley accepted the winning trophy on behalf of the School team, which was presented during afternoon tea. My thanks go to Ms Heard for organising the tournament and for umpiring. Thank you also to the College for hosting the event.
